Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the collection and processing of personal data carried out by the BIKE4ALL application, a platform for valuing avoided carbon emissions that rewards sustainable behaviors, developed by CEiiA - Centre for Engineering and Product Development.

This page aims to inform visitors about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information if someone decides to use our service.

    • Full name, password, email address, phone number, address, and tax identification number.

    • Your location, IP address, trips taken, internally assigned ID code, navigation within the platform (access dates and times, clicks, etc.), hardware, software, and browser used.

  3. Purpose

    The processing of your personal data is necessary for the use of the mobility services available in the BIKE4ALL app, to gather feedback on user experiences, improve and optimize the product, and calculate and reward users for avoiding carbon emissions resulting from the adoption of sustainable mobility modes.

  4. What Rights Do You Have and How to Exercise Them

    As a user of the BIKE4ALL app, you have a set of rights to decide and control how we use your personal data. These rights can be exercised at any time and free of charge via the email: dadospessoais@ceiia.com. Specifically, you have the following rights:

      You can request confirmation of whether we are using your personal data; if so, we will also inform you about what data we have, how we use it, with whom we share it, how long we keep it, and whether profiling is being done, among other details.

    2. Rectification

    3. Deletion

      You can request the deletion of your personal data: (i) when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, (ii) when you withdraw your consent, if the data is only processed based on that consent.

    4. Restriction

      You can request temporary restriction of your data usage: (i) if you believe your data is inaccurate, until it is verified or updated, (ii) if it is no longer needed for the purposes mentioned above, (iii) if you object to its use for any of the purposes listed in section 3 of this Privacy Policy.

    5. Portability

      You can request that we provide your data directly to you or to another entity, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, whenever technically feasible.

    6. Complaint

      You can file a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In this case, it is the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD).

      You can object to the use of your data for any of the purposes listed in section 3 of this Privacy Policy.

  5. Children's Privacy

    Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
